Jonathan Manning (DakotaBoy88) > I created this odd device for a Stupid Technology contest. Originally I didn't have any food on the plate, wanting to leave the obscured screen to the viewers' imaginations, but I had to add it to hide the cliche (Wil Wheaton). Adding the food helped me a lot to better learn to create shadows and reflections. The cheese sauce is created entirely by hand. In the end it scored ok, but not as well as I thought it would, but having it featured in T3 magazine made up for the low scoring.
